Conference proceedings, Special issue of Journal of Texture Studies
Two special issues will by sponsored by the Journal of Texture Studies and dedicated to the publication of reviews and research papers originating from the 2nd International Conference on Food Oral Processing. Prior to acceptance, all submitted conference papers are subject to peer review and final decision by the Journal Editors. Additional information and a link to the Submission Guidelines for the Journal of Texture Studies are included below.
Special Issue One – Review papers originating from invited Plenary Talks
The first Special Issue will include review papers originating from the invited Plenary talks on the latest research progresses and future direction of food oral processing. The submission deadline is 31st July, 2012, and the Issue will appear in print December 2012.
Special Issue Two – Research papers originating from Oral and Poster Presentations
The second Special Issue will include research papers originating from the program of other oral and poster presentation. The submission deadline is 30th September, 2012, and the Issue will appear in print February 2013.
Journal Aims & Scope
The Journal of Texture Studies is an international journal of texture, rheology, and the physical sensory testing of foods and consumer goods. It is a primary source on all of the sciences that relate to sensory perception and the physical characterization of texture, and it focuses on how the tactile senses are used to determine the acceptability of food and other consumer products. The Journal of Texture Studies is also a leading source on the interface between food texture and viscosity and the health of people suffering from dysphagia, temporomandibular joint diseases, and similar medical problems.
Submission Guidelines for Authors
The following requirements are mandatory for all conference-related submissions:
Due to the page limitations of the Journal of Texture Studies, all conference-related submissions cannot be guaranteed inclusion in the Special Issues. However, papers originating from the conference that are not included in the Special Issues may still be published in subsequent issues of the Journal of Texture Studies.
